Wednesday

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport 

You will be met by your Christian Holyland Tours representative and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv..


Thursday

Jerusalem – Old City 

Your tour begins with a drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city, followed by a visit to the church of All Nations, King David’s tomb and the room of the Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Next you’ll enter within the walls of the city and visit the Cardo, Temple Mount (note that entrance to the mosques are not included), Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the oriental Bazaar and the Garden Tomb. You’ll end the day by returning to your hotel in Jerusalem.


Friday

Jerusalem & Bethlehem* 

After your visit to Ein Karem to see the Church of Visitation, you’ll continue on to Yad Vashem, to visit the memorial to the holocaust, the Israel museum, the shrine of the book, where the dead sea scrolls are housed, and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Next stop is Bethlehem* to visit the Church of Nativity and then back to your hotel in Jerusalem.


Saturday

Dead Sea / Masada

Today you’ll begin by driving to Qumeran and visiting this ancient city where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. After that you’ll drive along the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. You’ll ascend Mt. Massada by cable car and visit Herod’s Palace, the food storerooms, and water irrigation system. When finished you’ll descend by cable car and return to Jerusalem for the night. 


Sunday

Beit Shean & Nazareth 

Today you’ll leave Jerusalem and drive through the Jordan Valley to the newly excavated city of Beit Shean to visit the Roman theatre. Next, your drive continues to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River and then on to Nazareth via Cana of Galilee. Here you’ll visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s well. After that you’ll head to the Kibbutz Hotel for the night.


Monday

Tiberias & Capernaum 

After a short tour of Tiberias, you’ll enjoy a boat ride to Capernaum where you’ll visit the remains of a 2nd century synagogue. Next is Tabgha, the site of the miracle of fish and loaves, and a visit to the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. From here, it’s off to the Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, followed by a rive to the Banias Springs and waterfalls and a tour of the Golan Heights. You’ll then return to the Kibbutz Hotel for the night.


Tuesday

Acre, Haifa & Caesarea 

After breakfast, your first stop of the day is a drive to Acre to visit the ancient city and harbor. Next, you’ll continue on to Haifa to view the Persian Gardens at the Bahai Temple and then it’s off to Megiddo. In Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon, you’ll visit the archeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system and then continue your drive to   Caesarea   , the capital of Judea under the Romans. Here you’ll get to visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman Theatre and aqueduct. Your drive then continues along the coastal plain to Tel Aviv where you’ll be spending the night. 


Wednesday

Transfer to Ben Gurion airport for departure. 

Your Christian Holy Land Tours representative will help transfer you from the hotel to Ben Gurion airport for your flight home.

Sunday

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport   

Your Christian Holyland Tour representative will greet you upon arrival and accompany you to your hotel in Tel Aviv.


Monday

Caesarea / Acre Megiddo / Haifa 

Your tour begins with an early departure from Tel Aviv for a drive along the coastal plain to   Caesarea, the capital of Judea under the Romans. Here you’ll visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct and then continue to Megiddo, to visit the archeological   excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Your drive then continues to Haifa to see the Persian Gardens at the Bahai Shrine. From Haifa, you’ll drive to Acre to visit the ancient city and harbor and then continue to Kibbutz Lavi for the night.

After that you’ll continue your drive to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River and then to Beit Shean, a newly excavated city, to visit the Roman theatre. The day ends with a wonderful drive along the Jordan River to   Jerusalem where you’ll be spending the night. 


Thursday

Jerusalem: Old City

Here you’ll enter through the walls of the Old and visit the Cardo, Temple Mount (note that entrance to the mosques is not included), Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the oriental Bazaar. The day wraps up with a visit to the Garden Tomb and then back to your hotel in Jerusalem. 


Friday

Jerusalem – New City and Bethlehem*   

After a drive to Ein Kerem for a visit to the Church of Visitation, you’ll proceed to Yad Vashem and visit the memorial to the Holocaust and the Israel Museum, Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed. You’ll also visit the miniature model of   Jerusalem   as it was during the Second Temple period. From here you’ll proceed to Bethlehem * to visit the Church of Nativity. You’ll spend the night in Jerusalem. 


Saturday

Masada / Dead Sea

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, where you will be met by a Christian Holyland Tour representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Tel Aviv.


Monday

Caesarea / Acre Megiddo / Haifa

Your drive then continues to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River and then to the newly excavated city of Beit Shean, to visit the Roman theatre. Your day ends with a relaxing drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem where you’ll be spending the night.

Your day ends by heading back to your hotel in Jerusalem.


Friday

Jerusalem – New City and Bethlehem* 

After your rrive to Ein Kerem and visit at he Church of Visitation, you’ll continue on to Yad Vashem. Here you’ll visit the memorial to the Holocaust, the Israel Museum, Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and the miniature model of   Jerusalem  as it was during the Second Temple period. Last stop of the day is Bethlehem* to visit the Church of Nativity and then back to your hotel in Jerusalem.


Saturday

After breakfast, you’ll depart for a drive to the ancient city of Qumeran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. You’ll have the opportunity to visit Qumeran and then your drive continues along the shore of the Dead Sea, known to be the lowest place on earth. Next sop is Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. You’ll ascend Mt. Massada by cable car and visit Herod’s Palace, the food storerooms, water irrigation system and have time to take in the breaktaking view from the mountaintop before you return to Jerusalem for the night.


Sunday

Beer Sheva /Sde Boker / Eilat 

Today you’ll be heading south to the Negev desert to visit Israel’s Air Force Museum at Hatzerim. Here you’ll have the opportunity to see the planes and equipment and to hear the story of this brave fighting force. Next stop is a camel riding experience and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent where you’ll learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch. From there you’ll continue on to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave, overlooking the magnificent Zin valley, followed by a stop at Mitzpeh Ramon to gaze into the Ramon Crater, an otherworldly geological wonder. You’ll next continue on to Eilat for the night.


Sunday

At leisure or Optional Tour to Petra**

After visa assistance at the Jordanian Border, you’ll drive through desert highways to the astonishing rose-red city of   Petra, built by the early Arab tribe, the Nabateans. Your visit begins with the possibility of a short horseback-ride (about 700 km.) to the entrance of the Siq, which is within walking distance at about 1.2 km long. There may be a possibility to rent a chariot for an extra fee to ride to Petra and back to the gate outside. Petra is famous for its huge monuments such as The Treasury, Royal Tombs, The Court, Roman Theatre, Roman Street, Palace of Pharaoh’s daughter, and many other smaller monuments that fascinate all who visit. The city itself is almost 45 square km and is considered to be the second wonder of the world. After your visit, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at a nice restaurant followed by the drive back to the border. En-route to the border, you’ll stop for a short visit at Aqaba with the possibility for a short walk. Then it’s back to Eilat for the night.


Monday

Eilat / Timna / Tel Aviv 

The day begins with a visit to the underwater observatory, of one of the largest seaquariums in the world built into a coral reef. Next, drive to Timna to see the copper mines and King Solomon’s pillars and marvel at the huge multicolored rock formations. You day concludes back in Tel Aviv for the night.


Tuesday

Tel Aviv / Ben Gurion Airport

After breakfast, your Christian Holy Land Tours representative will help you return to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure home.
